Will Pressure Wash for Food

Saturday night Zach was tired and wanted to nap at like 7 so I decided I would call my parents and invite myself out for a free dinner with them! I'm pretty good at that, but I think they enjoy it! :) Anyway, Z told me I better not come home without food for him so I got him his favorite seafood alfredo to-go! I had to go back to my parents house and pick up the dogs and while we were there my dad added in Zach's favorite kind of coke - the one out of the bottle. (I can't tell the difference between any of them, but my dad and Z must be Coke connoisseurs!) lol. So my spoiled hubby got a free dinner/drink without even having to leave the house! He seemed to enjoy it all though so that was good!

Salad, breadsticks, alfredo, BOTTLED coke... :)

On Sunday morning Zach told me he was bored and that he wanted to surprise my parents and pressure wash their driveway. I had him call a neighbor of my parents and ask if he could borrow their washer and they said sure! He spent most of the afternoon working really hard on it and finished right before a huge storm! The end result was great and my parents were happy with the turn out. At one point my mom asked me "is he doing this to work off his dinner last night?" I laughed, but I told her that I thought Z was doing it out of the goodness of his heart! :)
Busy, Busy Hubby!

Twilight: Eclipse

Last night... well, I guess early this morning I went to see Eclipse with two good friends and my hubby! We got there early, got good seats, and had a great time! We all loved the movie.. even though Z and I didn't read the books so we're not like crazy into it like some people! Britt and Kelly wore the shirts and are true Twi-tards - I'm just a band wagon fan! haha. Oh well, still a nice time with friends last night! :) Poor Kelly had to wake up at 4:45 for work this morning and I'm sure she didn't get home until about 2:45! Ahh.

Patiently waiting!
Team Edward and evil Kelly!

That popcorn is bigger than her head! hehe.
Glad we got to experience this together!

Ladies Night!

Last night I went out to dinner with my bff Britt at Chili's. Mmmm. I love chips, queso, chicken caesar pitas... and a lovely presidente margarita or 2!! Directly next door to Chili's is a new bar that just opened called World of Beer. There are a few locations, but yesterday was my first time at one and it ended up that Thursday is ladies night! Half off all wines? Yes, please! I'll have a glass or 5! Haha. A friend of mine from work *well, where I used to work* joined us... along with another girl from work and her friend/a girl I knew from HS met us too! They actually ordered Chili's and had it delivered to the bar - amazing, right?! It was such a fun night out with the girls and I can't wait to do it again soon! Thanks for the fun times! :)

Strawberry Crisps

A few months ago while Z and I were grocery shopping at Publix a sample lady talked us into trying new "Strawberry Fruit Crisps" by Kelloggs. Each pack comes with two crisps and together they are only 100 calories. They taste like pop-tarts to me and also come in blueberry... We got a coupon and bought a box and have since bought quite a few boxes to eat as breakfast/snacks. Well, lately they have been completely out of the strawberry ones (my favorite!) at Publix, Sweetbay, Target, etc. All they ever have are the blueberry ones (Z's favorite!). The other day I walked into the house and this is what I came home to....

SIX boxes of strawberry crisps. My super cute hubby bought all that was left at the store because he knows how hard they are to come by sometimes. I couldn't stop laughing at him! He's so funny and I so appreciate his gestures! Thanks hunny - they willall be eaten sooner than later! :)

Sunday Funday!

One of my good friends and her hubby bought a boat a little while back, but I had yet to go out on it with them. We had been trying to find a good time to go and we finally were all available yesterday morning! We had such a nice time tubing, laying out, and just eating/relaxing together! After about an hour we thought we'd have to go home because of rain, but I told them "it will just clear up and go away"... and it did just that! It was actually quite amusing because they all thought I was crazy! hehe. Anyway, thanks Ashley and Chris for such a fun time!

By the end of the day it was so beautiful out!

In order to tow the boat she had to buy a new car... Nice work! lol.
Tubing in salt water made my eyes burn! Ouch!

That night Z and I went to my parents for Father's Day dinner. We bought him and a installed a new mailbox. After 27 years in that same house... we figured it was time! :) What a super FUN in the sun filled day!!

Congrats Mom!

So after 7 years with the same car... my mom got a brand new car this weekend! :) I'm so happy for her because it was definitely her turn! lol. Since she got her last car I've been through 3, my dad has had 2 different ones, my little brother got his first one, and my older brother got a different one!

I guess it was worth the wait because even thought it IS a Buick, it is really nice and just what she wanted! lol. I told her it sounded like an old persons car to me, but I do love it and approve and know she does too! Great job Mom!!

The Joys of Being a "Mom"!

So this morning I got a nice 6am wake up from one of the dogs whining in the crate... I realized they hadn't been potty in awhile so I got up to take them for a short walk. I was back in bed by 6:20 when it happened. One of them, Zach swears it was Lacey, stood behind me with their face next to mine, made a noise, and threw up on me. Chunky orange dog puke on my head/face. I started to gag and yell. Zach was no help at all and I ended up having to take a shower. It was awful. Everyone I've told so far has laughed at me for some reason! There is nothing funny about that.

Thanks dogter!

Graduation? Part 2

Last night my "little" brother graduated HS! Congrats again Doug!! It was held at USF's Sundome which is where their basketball team plays and many events are held. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in a white gown waiting for my name to get called... I can't believe it has been over 6 years though! Just crazy! The ceremony was very nice and it didn't take as long as I thought it would to call out all 603 graduates name! The ones in white are honor grads (48%) while those in green are not. The valedictorian had an amazing 6.4 GPA and the principal mentioned that students have been offered a total of 4.2 million dollars in scholarships. Woah!!! WTG SHS! lol.

After the ceremony family and friends were invited to a local sports bar to have lots of yummy food/drinks! My parents ordered a ton of food for everyone and we all had a great time celebrating Doug together! :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We drove up to GA on Thursday for the graduation on Friday night. After the ceremony we drove down to Zach's grandma's lake house to spend Sat/Sun there. I hadn't been down there in a few years so it was great to get back on the water. She lives on a huge lake and a has 2 boats so we spent the weekend tubing/boating, eating, drinking, laughing, and having a grand old time! It was so nice getting to spend so much relaxing time with the inlaws! All three of Zach's siblings were there - and each had their significant other/friend with them! I didn't get too many lake pics so I stole a couple from LA and Josh! :)

LA and Josh about to have a "first grade" ride!
Caleb with his GREAT grandma! :)

Allie probably hitting John for annoying her! LOL.
The grad and I! :)

Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend with fam/friends! :)

I've Gone Bananas!

Zach hasn't been feeling well since we got home yesterday from GA... so he decided to stay home this afternoon while I did the dreaded grocery shopping alone. This meant he was not there to tell me no, or point out any crazy trend in my shopping...

Well, I came home with:

3 Bananas...

A Banana Smoothie Mix...
A package of Frozen Chocolate Bananas...... And Fat Free/Sugar Free Banana Pudding.
I feel like a monkey and he doesn't even know it yet! Ha.
