Moving on Up!

Yesterday Z and I decided... kind of on a whim... that THIS weekend we would move from a 1/1 apartment to a 2/2 across the "lake". We got an amazing deal, but little time to move/paint/pack/etc! Lucky for us we have friends who are willing to help us with stuff so we should be okay! Our new place is on the 2nd floor... so we are really moving UP! hehe.

We get the keys to the new place tomorrow afternoon so we will start moving then and have to finish by Monday morning. We've started to prime our walls (we have to do this before moving out) and we're thinking of a game plan to make sure this all gets done in a timely manner!

The only downside is that Z doesn't want to paint again because it's a pain getting it primed at moving time... :( I have never felt at home like I have here (minus the house I grew up in) because of hung pictures/colored walls/matching furniture etc. Our Army "homes" were never homes, just houses we had to stay in, but I really liked it here in our little 1/1! I am, however, ready to have a place for our visitors to stay and they will even have their own walk in closet and bathroom! Yay!
